3D Printing

We have been interested in 3D printing for a long time. Dan got his first 3D printer back in 2011 when he had to build it from scratch and there was very little community support. Now we have four 3D printers including two E3D tool changers that provide multi material printing and speedy printing.

3D printing allows great opportunities to rapidly prototype and build parts to fix or augment other tools or spaces in the workshop. Often these are parts to support dust collection, blade sharpening, jig making, or other precise and repeatable applications. 

3D printing is becoming more accessible to the regular hobbyist as printers are decreasing in price and increasing in ability. If you are interested in learning about them, trying out a print or learning to design a part, we can help!
