Custom Projects

This is our favorite part! Whatever project you have in mind, we have enough tools, know how, and motivation to make your vision a reality! Some of our custom projects so far have been product displays, solid maple dining room tables, and DIY slot car tracks. 

We have built projects for people, we have mentored others on woodworking and rough lumber milling, and we have hosted small groups of makers for custom projects. Let us know, and we can plan, iterate, and construct your idea!

At Dandy’s Farm, we have found it is better to work in a group to problem solve and bring multiple perspectives to the table. Use us as a collaboration guide or building space and your project will be better than  you imagined!

Dan helped me craft an amazing table thanks to his knowledge of woodworking and access to his shop. You can’t go wrong with him.

See What We’re Working On

Our community decided we wanted to try making Halloween more of a priority and draw this year. I volunteered to make some yard signs to help everyone get excited. I was intending to make a 5 second video about my tape holder. Then, when I went to film it the little tiny rolls didn't fit, and the video turned longer. These are some pictures from the recent LA Fixit Clinic in Burbank @lafixitclinic I had some fun with the @egopowerplus Chainsaw and my @grizzlymachines wood lathe making some table legs for my computer desk. Great project for @lot_xi with collaboration from @whitneyalix It was time to empty the dust collector over at Dandy's Farm! I am still running the new A3-31 through its paces and deciding where it goes in the shop. So far, I am really enjoying it! New (to me) tool! It's a Hammer A3-31 jointer/planer. I have been wanting a jointer/planer with a induction motor for a while. Now to do some cleaning and learning more about this beast! Delivery day! It has been great fun and a HUGE learning experience building 25 seed libraries for @altadenaseedlibrary What's cooking?
